Building the Toolibin, Dongolocking, Tarin Rock Eco-Bridge Funding

Funding is currently available as part of the ‘Building the Toolibin, Dongolocking, Tarin Rock Eco-Bridge project.

This funding is available for land managers wanting to undertake on-ground works to link and strengthen connectivity between critical habitat and remnant vegetation, manage and restore native habitat condition and undertake management practices to ensure native wildlife is protected; create buffers around priority areas and build ecological resilience across the geographical area.

Farmers on adjoining properties that share a common biodiversity asset or unconnected properties that share a common biodiversity asset across the district are encouraged to apply. Activities eligible for funding include:

  • Fencing remnant vegetation
  • Buffering next to DEC reserves
  • Revegetation & fencing available non-arable ridges
  • Planting & fencing creeklines
  • Planting corridors- biodiversity seedlings and tree crops
  • Other vegetation
  • Protecting threatened species- flora and fauna
  • Weed control and feral animal control (as part of another project).

Any land managers that wish to undertake revegetation works as part of this project are encouraged to contact SWCC staff as soon as possible.
