SWCC Association

Our region is made of six main catchments that are managed by community-based catchment groups (check out the map on our home page to see these catchment boundaries) – it is these groups that originally came together to form the South West Region and we continue to work together to care for the south west.

The leaders of these groups, (the Chair or a nominated representative), form the base membership of the South West Catchments Council. These members provide us with important local knowledge and information from each of the sub-region area so we can ensure our work is consistent with the local priorities in each area but with a regional and strategic overview.

SWCC Association Members:

  • David Gardner, Independent Chair
  • Per Christensen - Blackwood Basin Group
  • Rod Hamelin - Cape to Cape Catchments Group
  • Robin Flowers – Geocatch
  • Mike Whitehead – Leschenault Catchment Council
  • Peter Hick – Peel-Harvey Catchment Group
  • Paul Owens – Warren Catchments Council

The minutes of the SWCC Association meetings are available for public viewing upon request. Contact us to request copies of these minutes.
