Ruabon-Tutunup Corridor

The project draws on a draft Management Plan for the Ruabon-Tutunup Rail Reserve to implement key management activities to protect and enhance the conservation values of the Ruabon-Tutunup vegetation corridor. This is a priority as the corridor is one of only two vegetation linkages remaining on the Swan Coastal Plain, and also contains occurrences of the Busselton Ironstone TEC, which supports the TEC project.

The project protects and enhances the conservation values of the Ruabon -Tutunup corridor through targeted weed control, revegetation of priority sites, the facilitation of prescribed burns, promotion of environmental values of the vegetation to landholders and consolidation of revegetation activities undertaken in previous investment.
