Strategy Manager

The Strategy Manager drives diversification for the organisation. It is a new position for which a high degree of autonomy is required. The role will be a key support to the CEO, but at its inception has no direct reports.

This role requires an astute individual with the ability to understand market drivers and trends, and crucially to identify emerging gaps that present market opportunity for SWCC. Financial and risk management competence is required to develop business cases on which the Board can make investment decisions.

It will be necessary to undertake proactive engagement of a range of senior individuals within potential partner organisations for exploratory discussions through to contractual negotiations.

Consideration must be given to whether/what role exists for SWCC Association Members and the Aboriginal community of our region in developing diversification initiatives.

This role requires concise communication of complex concepts, financials and project plans, as well as the staying power to translate an idea into real-world outcome.
