Australind community meeting
19 June, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The Leschenault Catchment Council (LCC) is inviting community members to a meeting at the Australind Hall to share information about the estuary and local environment.
The meeting has been sparked by community interest in the proposed Leschenault Regional Park, which is the second regional park proposed for Greater Bunbury. The park includes areas of regional open space surrounding the Leschenault Estuary, Leschenault Peninsula and the foreshore areas of Collie and Brunswick Rivers and the white mangrove colony within the Leschenault Inlet.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to engage with LCC staff and Board members, as well as meet like-minded people who have an interest in alternative farming practices, nature-based activities, water quality, biodiversity, cultural values, tourism, history, scientific research and conservation.
Everyone is welcome. Please RSVP by email to [email protected] or phone 9791 4773
