Biodynamics for Market Gardening

Biodynamic Agriculture Australia will present a Biodynamics for Market Gardening workshop in Donnybrook on Wednesday, 13 September 2017.
You’ll visit Brett Kirkpatrick’s extensive and successful bio-dynamic ‘market garden’ and hear from Biodynamic Agriculture Australia presenters John Hodgkinson and Shane Joyce.
There will be a full rundown on making, stirring and applying the biodynamic preparations and their effect on the plants and the soil.
They will also other organic/biodynamic techniques used on Brett’s farm including:
- crop rotations
- weed control
- green manuring
- bed forming
- composting
- marketing and certification
COST – $30 includes morning and afternoon tea. BYO lunch.
