BirdLife WA Networking Forum – Perth

Regional Landcare and conservation groups are invited to a BirdLife WA forum in Perth on Saturday May 11th 2019.
The main aims of the forum are:
- Regional Group updates and forward planning;
- Regional Group networking;
- To identify how the BirdLife WA office can be more relevant to your group, and vice-versa;
- To explore the potential for growth and development in both rural and urban groups;
- To give an overview of current BirdLife WA programs and priorities.
The focus will be on two-way group dialogue, keeping formal presentations to a minimum.
BirdlIfe WA invite a representative from each group to attend this forum. Your fuel costs to and from Perth will be reimbursed. Billets can be arranged with BirdLife members if required/preferred, or low cost accommodation will be provided if there are no other options.
Additional members from your group who wish to attend are most welcome, but it will be at their own expense.
The day’s activities will be made available closer to the date of the forum based upon your responses to a questionnaire, which will be emailed out in the next few weeks.
It is also expected that each Regional Group representative to give a short presentation (< 5 minutes) introducing their group and its main activities.
All food and drinks will be provided at the forum. A guided bird excursion to Herdsman Lake will follow the forum for those interested.
