Clever Cockies and Priceless Possums Workshop

Calling all budding citizen scientists!
SWCC, BirdLife WA and University of Queensland are looking for volunteers to contribute to science-based conservation of black cockatoos and possums, including the critically endangered Western Ringtail Possum.
Join our workshop to learn more about participating in BirdLife’s Great Cocky Count event (7 April 2019) and how you can help an innovative smartphone app trial aiding possum conservation.
Workshop speakers include Adam Peck, BirdLife Carnaby’s Black-Cockatoo Project Coordinator, and Rochelle Steven, University of Queensland’s School of Biological Science and Threatened Species Recovery Hub Researcher.

WHERE: Gelorup Community Centre, 40 Hasties Road
TIME: 6:30pm to 9:00pm
