Climate Change, Risk and Liability workshop

WALGA will be hosting a half day event on Climate Change, Risk and Liability at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, timed to coincide with the annual WA Local Government Convention.

Preparing for a changing climate represents a good governance approach for an organisation, and makes business sense in terms of cost efficiency and limiting exposure to future liability.

Information presented will include:

• consideration of climate change in long-term strategic plans and corporate business plans
• factoring climate change projections in risk assessments and insurance schemes, and
• positive case studies from Local Governments that have put new policies and processes in place, and are implementing adaptation action plans.

The Forum will be $44.00 (incl GST) to attend and includes morning tea.
