Peron Naturaliste Partnership – Scenario Planning Workshop

4 April, 2018 @ 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm

The City of Bunbury is currently supporting the Peron Naturaliste Partnership with a project that seeks to investigate how the local community values the coast in both economic and non-economic terms.  This is an important consideration for coastal hazard risk planning and something that hasn’t been investigated in Western Australia before.  The project involves three case study sites in the south west, one of which is Bunbury’s back beach.

As part of the project, a scenario planning workshop will be held from 5.30 – 9.30pm on Wednesday, 4 April 2018 in the City of Bunbury Council Chambers Function Room.  The workshop will involve presentations from PNP, relevant state agencies and City of Bunbury staff in order to set the scene, which will be followed by facilitated group work in order to consider what various sea level rise scenarios would mean for Back Beach and the values that people ascribe to it.

If you wish to attend, please notify Joanne Ludbrook by COB Tuesday, 3 April 2018.
