Pest Management in Horticulture

Pest management workshop(s) are now being offered to growers and agronomists interested in learning more about managing invertebrate pests on their farms.  The workshop will be run by entomologists Jessica Page and Dr. Paul Horne from IPM Technologies, a private company that has been supporting growers with Integrated Pest Management since 1996.

The workshop includes a 45-minute presentation on pest management followed by a discussion on the pros and cons of current practice. The number of attendees is limited to 10 to help each participant develop a management strategy that will include biological, cultural and chemical control options.
