Possum Workshop & CAUL App Information Session Bunbury
9 September, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

September 9th Bunbury possum workshop and app info session at the Parade Hotel, Bunbury.
The workshop will look at research on western ringtail possums as well as a new citizen science app for monitoring all possums and gliders in Australia. Learn about the new easy to use tool for sharing sightings of possums in your gardens or the local park.
We recommend downloading and installing the CAUL Urban Wildlife App from the App Store or Google Play before attending the event. We will go through the app on the night, and answer your questions about the project.
We want to learn more about how possums use urban landscapes and how you feel about sharing your backyard with Australian possums; even if you’re not too happy about them eating your roses! Attendees will also be offered free habitat plants for your gardens, so you can contribute to conservation efforts for the western ringtail possum.
This possum and glider citizen science project is a collaboration between the Threatened Species Recovery Hub and the Clean Air and Urban Landscapes Hub with funding from the Australian Government’s National Environmental Science Program and the National Landcare Program through the South West Catchments Council.
WHEN: Friday 9th September 2019, 6pm – 8pm.
WHERE: Parade Hotel Bunbury, 1 Austral Parade Bunbury 6230.
RSVP: Please email Rochelle Steven: [email protected] to rsvp. Light refreshments will be provided. For catering purposes, please register your attendance via email.
