Revegetation Workshop – Wonnerup

Join three local specialists and gain valuable knowledge, skills and techniques to successfully revegetate native
bushland. Get an insight into the long-term regeneration process by visiting three rehabilitation sites that are at different stages of successful revegetation.
Greg Overton is the Senior Environmental Supervisor of Cristal Mining and has been working in the Environmental Restoration field for over 20 years in the South West. He and his team were awarded the RIAWA Award for Excellence in Revegetation in 2018 for turning a Blue Gum monoculture into a biodiverse wetland in Gwindinup.
Brook Devine is the Managing Director of Cape Life, a South West based environmental services business that specialises in native seed collection, revegetation and rehabilitation, weed control, and environmental reporting and maintenance.
Rod Cary is the Manager of the Geographe Community Landcare Nursery and a former TAFE horticulture lecturer with a vast knowledge about the local flora of the South West.
