The workshop on adequate water storage will show you how to assess your domestic and property water needs, and evaporation losses. Based on this, we will show how to calculate tank sizes to match roof catchment and water uses. Dam design, locating suitable dam sites and the mechanics of actually sinking a dam will be covered, along with approximate costs and a number of practical points.

The workshop on water use efficiency in irrigation will cover landscape considerations, water delivery requirements, efficient water pumping and pipe sizes, evening out application rates across an orchard or vegetable crop or lines of trees, water efficient applicators and the essential aspect of knowing when irrigation is actually needed.
