WALGA Forum: Land Use Planning for Improved Environmental Outcomes

WALGA will host a full-day forum on Land Use Planning for Improved Environmental Outcomes on Thursday, 22 February 2018.

The Forum will provide ‘non-planners’ with an understanding of State and Local Government planning processes, and opportunities within the planning hierarchy to achieve better environmental outcomes. Planners will gain contemporary industry advice on how to effectively integrate natural resource management in Local Government planning strategies and schemes.

Expert speakers include representatives from the Environmental Protection Authority, Western Australian Planning Commission, Department of Premier and Cabinet, Local Government and industry bodies.
