Wooditjup Bilya Protection Strategy Launch

Invitation to the Launch of Wooditjup Bilya Protection Strategy

Join Nature Conservation Margaret River Region and the Shire of Augusta Margaret River for the launch of the ‘Wooditjup Bilya Protection Strategy – Working together to protect the Margaret River’ on Saturday 23rd November between 3.00 – 5.00 pm at Rotary Park.

This community event will include an address by Cr Ian Earl, Shire President and a brief summary of the current key actions to protect the river. Zac Webb, Wadandi Cultural Custodian will provide a Welcome to Country and a guided walk along the river.

Margaret River Primary School students will also join us to discuss their vision for the river and Jane Scott is hoping to have copies of her new book entitled ‘Wildflowers and Wetland Plants of the Margaret River and its Hinterlands’ available for signing at the event.
