The South West Catchments Council’s Sustainable Agriculture team, as well as representatives from Katanning Landcare, Blackwood Basin Group and the Dumbelyung Landcare Group attended the 2018 Wagin Woolarama.
Over two days more than 1000 people visited the exhibition shed with many stopping by the Landcare stand to talk about various sustainable agriculture trials and techniques.
On Friday, Pingelly farmer Garry Page answered questions from interested farmers about the practicalities of planting and grazing forage shrubs with a pasture inter-row.
For many farmers the big issue, as always, seemed to be what grows well on salt affected country!
