Rotational Grazing Training Opportunity Opens

Expressions of interest are now open to take part in the Grazing Matcher Program in 2021.

The twelve-month, eight-meeting program is facilitated by local consultants Jeisane Accioly and Dan Parnell, who have tailored best practice grazing techniques to local conditions. They show producers how to set and adjust their rotation speed and monitor post-grazing residuals.

The program also helps producers improve the quality, quantity and use of conserved fodder, make better feed decisions, and monitor feed quality, animal condition and overall business performance.

Networking with consultants and peers at each other’s farm and between meetings is a key aspect of the program.

Expressions of interest are open for four groups to run from autumn 2021, two in the South West and two on the South coast (Wilson Inlet and Oyster Harbour catchments).
