Dr. Claire Langdon comes to SWCC from a background in health: both clinical and in executive and strategic roles. Claire brings skills in strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, communication and change management as well as research, conceptual and analytical skills. Claire’s research is published in peer reviewed scientific journals. She co-authored an internationally recognised textbook and conceptualised and contributed to research projects that have fostered national and international collaborations. Her abilities have been recognised by awards that include a Churchill Fellowship.
Claire is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Managers and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She brings significant Board experience, is currently serving on the Australian Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Specialty Training Board, and has served as the Deputy Chair of the WA Simulation in Healthcare Alliance, the Board of the WA Health Consumers Council and was a clinician representative working on the WA Sustainable Health Review.
