Karen Boyce holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Adelaide and is a graduate of the Company Directors Course and a current member of Australian Institute of Company Directors. She has effectively matched these qualifications to deliver business-focused outcomes leveraging deep technical expertise.
Karen has held senior leadership roles in energy and mining companies and is currently Manager of Approvals for Fortescue’s portfolio of renewable energy projects. She has been directly responsible for setting up companies in Australia, project development including all statutory approvals, financing, foundation customer contracts, construction contract development & market intelligence. She has managed teams of environmental and process engineers and has a large network of contacts within industry and government.
