TSSC considers ‘critically endangered’ status for Tuart woodlands

The national Threatened Species Scientific Committee (TSSC) is assessing the Tuart (Eucalyptus gomphocephala) and forst of the Swan Coastal Plan ecological community.  This community is being considered for possible listing as threatened under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act (EPBC Act).   The Committee proposes to include this ecological community in the category of critically endangered.
